Men or Women?

Actually, the society has been changing the mentality about what can the women do and what can the men do; however, some cultures, countries and people are still living in the past. That has been reflecting in many forms and especially when we talk about the jobs. For example, in Venezuela a lot of people are chauvinistic for this reason the good political Maria Corina, who was a candidate presidential, couldn't win the elections because the society is not ready to realized that a woman can take care of the country. Also, some men still think that "the woman is for the house and the man for the street" and that's exactly what they say but others don't think like that, and now the women can do and work as good as the men so the majority of the women in Venezuela can work in any places; also, the men can cook very well. finally, I just thank God that the mentality has changed, I think I could've lived in a chauvinistic society.

  1. Interestingly enough, there seem to be at least some female leaders in South America - Brazil and Argentina, for example. Hopefully it will happen one day in Venezuela too.
